Pride Month is the annual celebration of the LGBTQ community that takes place each June to commemorate the 1969 Stonewall Riots in New York City.

Baltimore hosts its main events this weekend with dance parties, concerts, a parade and other festivities.

Here is a roundup of Baltimore Pride happenings:

Pariah Dance Party, Friday, June 24, 6-10 p.m., Pariah Brewing, 1700 Union Ave.

Want to kick off your weekend with some beers and dance? You’re in luck! Pariah Brewing Company is hosting a Pride dance party. DJ Webbieweb will spin dance and house songs and Jell-O shots will be provided to support Chesapeake Women’s Rugby. Located in the old Union Brewing space on Union Avenue, Pariah is hosting a slate of other Pride events as well that include “spin the wheel” deals on Saturday. The dance party is free and there will be food on-site.
